Room at the Top: Access and success at leading universities around the world
This report, authored by Graeme Atherton, examines how universities who are seen as leading internationally and/or in their own national contexts are supporting greater access and success for learners from low-income and other marginalised groups.
What can English universities learn from global institutions? By looking at how they work with schools, learners and parents prior to HE entry, the financial support offered, the strategic commitment of institutions, and, crucially, how they support low-income learners when they enter HE, it is hoped that this report will be a resource for those in the UK concerned about this agenda.
This report is published alongside an impact brief which looks at the specific impact of Covid-19 on university access around the world.
