New Erasmus+ project starts with a kick-off meeting in Sweden

The Swedish Higher Education Authority in its role as a project co-ordinator has been hosting the kick-off meeting of a new Erasmus+ Project called  Modernization, Education and Human Rights (MEHR).

During the next three years partner universities and HE agencies from Sweden, Portugal and Croatia, together with ESU will work on specific country cases related to LO assessment of human rights

  • with focus on men’s violence against women and violence towards children (medical education and social welfare) in Sweden,
  • with focus on migration, intercultural skills and competences for social inclusion (geography and engineering education) in Portugal, and
  • with focus on democratic participation and citizenship (teacher training) in Croatia.

It is planned to present project results at an international conference in Brussels in June 2019. The event will be organized by ESU.
