EUA webinar: Approaches to cooperation and exchange in learning and teaching on a European level

The European University Association (EUA) is launching its next Webinar on the 28th of March as part of the project ‘The European Forum For Enhanced Collaboration in Teaching’ (EFFECT). On this occasion, the webinar will explore how university cooperation and peer-learning on learning and teaching can be implemented at a European and national level and provide information on outcomes of one of such activities: EUA’s Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups.

The webinar will present an overview of recent EUA studies carried out in the context of the EFFECT-project it coordinated, namely National Initiatives in Learning and Teaching in Europe and a feasibility study on how teaching enhancement can be promoted in the most efficient manner at European level.

When? 28 March 2019 – 14.00 to 15.00 CET

The recording of the webinar is now available here.

Background

EUA is the coordinator of the European Forum for Enhanced Collaboration in Teaching (EFFECT) project, where the European Students’ Union (ESU) is a partner.

The project receives funding from the Erasmus + programme of the European Commission and counts with the support of 12 different partners, including universities and associations working actively in the field of higher education.

As a part of the project, EFFECT released the ‘ten European Principles for the Enhancement of Learning & Teaching’ which were the result of different discussions between higher education institutions and representative members from EFFECT. Those are non-prescriptive but aim to serve as inspiration and facilitate the task of cooperation in this field between local, national and European initiatives and among the institutions involved in the field.
