Description
Daciana is a PhD student in Romania, at the “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, researching human rights in the European Union.
Her journey in the student movement began seven years ago, in 2019, in her local student union. She later was elected as a student representative in the university senate, the Committee for Quality Assurance and University Management and in the EUTOPIA (alliance) student council. Since 2023, she has been involved in quality assurance at national level.
Her experiences and strong connection to the student community fueled her passion for education and international representation, leading her to join the National Alliance of Student Organisations in Romania (ANOSR) and, later, the European Students’ Union (ESU).
Currently serving as ESU President, she is a passionate advocate for quality higher education, transparency and accountability in governance, student-centeredness and fundamental values of the EHEA.
