PSRP: Polish students nominate the best partners and supporters of their community
The Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland will organise the fourth edition of the ProJuvenes Competition and Gala this year, which honors the organisations, companies and institutions that support students in various ways. This year, the competition has three parts, but the final results will depend on students’ votes from all over the country.
Since 2013, the ProJuvenes Prize has been awarded annually to various national projects and activities run by students. For four years, it has been contributing to the recognition of extraordinary initiatives organised by the youngest members of the academic community or for them. This year, statuettes will be awarded for 10 categories: Journalist of the Year, Students’ Culture, Student Media, Scientific Project of the Year, NGO’s, Entrepreneurship, Athlete of the Year, Student Project of the Year and Studies without Barriers.
For the first time, the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland will reward students who constantly pursue their passions by practicing different sports.
“We want to show to a wider audience that students not only represent their universities and academic clubs, but they are also successful in the Polish Championships, European Championships or the Olympic Games in a particular discipline.” – said Ariel Wojciechowski, President of the Students’ Parliament.
Another novelty at the fourth edition of ProJuvenes is an award in the field of entrepreneurship. Its purpose is to promote companies and institutions that are facilitating a successful start on the labor market but also to support students in acquiring soft skills or developing the competences they need in a later career.
The winners of each category will be announced during the Gala, which will be held on November 4th at Warsaw Novotel Hotel Airport.
