Ukraine – UAS – Ukrainian Association of Students

UAS or Українська асоціація студентів is an independent and democratic national union of students of Ukraine. On the voluntary basis UAS unites 178 local students’ unions that work in higher educational institutions, and other active students in order to protect their rights and represent Ukrainian students interests on national and international level. Overall, UAS represents around 1.6 million of students of Ukraine. UAS was formerly known as UASS -which was established on November 24, 2002 and is a heritor of the Ukrainian Association for the Development of Students’ Self-government.
