
ESU celebrates the 1st International Day of Education
On 3 December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly adopted with consensus a resolution proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.
The European Students’ Union (ESU) joined the celebration on the 24th through a Social Media campaign engaging with their members and launching the question: Why is Education important for the sustainable development of societies?

The campaign obtained a good level of engagement through social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), where some of our members and student representatives shared the campaign and manifested support:
