ESPAQ training event in Yerevan

The ESPAQ training was held in Yerevan between 13-15 of September 2016.

The aim of the ESPAQ project is to strengthen the quality assurance (QA) processes and practices in the Armenian higher education by ensuring the involvement of all the stakeholders, especially the students – the key beneficiaries.

The training, delivered by sparqs and ESU and hosted by ANQUA (National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation), provided the participants with the necessary orientation for the upcoming study visits and review stimulations in Italy, Spain and Romania.

Over the course of three days, participants were introduced to relevant quality assurance terminology relating to institutional and programme reviews. They were  helped to acquire skills for the future research and review activities.

The training was a clear success in terms of preparation and understanding of the information delivered. The vigorous group work discussions, good analysis of review standards, and a high quality of presentations indicated the desired outcome of the ESPAQ event and opened new possibilities for further developments of the project.
