ESU opens the call for the FINST student exchange in Estonia

BRUSSELS – The European Students’ Union (ESU) opens the call for the FINST student exchange in cooperation with the Federation of Estonian Student Unions EUL, to take place in April 2012.

ESU invites all the members of the National Unions of Students to apply to take part in the last of three student exchanges which will take place as part of the ESU project Financing the Students’ Future (FINST), funded by the European Commission Lifelong Learning Program.

The project is funding three student exchanges, open to officers and staff in national unions across Europe and hosted by the partner unions in the FINST project: NUS (UK), EUL (Estonia) and OEH (Austria). The third exchange, with the Federation of Estonian Student Unions EUL will take place in Tallinn from 2 to 14 April 2012.

The aim of the exchanges is to build the capacity of National Students’ Unions across Europe to be able to influence their higher education financing systems. Each delegate will be provided with an opportunity to stay in the host country for ten days. They will experience a different student participation environment and be able to take part in activities contributing to the FINST project, and intended to improve participants’ knowledge about the higher education system of their host country.

The dates on which the exchanges take place: 2.4.2012 (arrival date) until 14.4.2012 (date of departure).

**Application deadline is 30th of January 2012**

Applications should be sent to exchange.finst@esu-online.org. Participants will be informed of the selection decision within two weeks of the deadline.
