Call for papers: social dimension conference

A conference within the PL4SD project will bring together research, action and policy in the social dimension of higher education.

The joint conference PL4SD and EUROSTUDENT will not only be a platform for stimulating peer learning and exchange of experiences. It will also provide an overview of available data on students in the EHEA and on the political and practical framework each country provides for enhancing the social dimension in higher education. The aim is to create an interactive learning environment for policy makers, stakeholders, researchers and the public.

Sketch of the conference structure:

– Presentation of Eurostudent V results – Data on the social and economic situation of students in the EHEA
– Presentation of PL4SD results – Database of measures to improve the social dimension in HE and examples of national ambitions for a coherent strategy for the social dimension (Country Reviews)
– Recent research on the social dimension in HE
– Exchange of knowledge and experiences

Representatives from all over the EHEA are invited to participate in the conference and be a part of a broad network of expertised representatives from ministries, HEIs, student organisations, national and international initiatives and organisations as well as researchers. The language of the conference is English.
