Be the change. Register for Climathon 2020
ESU‘s partners, European Institute of Innovation and Technology Climate-Knowledge and Innovation Community, are every year organising “Climathons” which are events for students to come across together across disciplines and use their academic skills on real-life sustainability problems. The topics for the Climathons are decided by the local organisers.
Climathon is a city-based programme, supported by EIT Climate-KIC, that offers a path to action and interaction. It is an opportunity for citizens to co-create ideas that address local climate challenges. At the core of the Climathon programme is an annual ideathon – Global Climathon Day – which takes place on 13 November 2020 in hundreds of cities across continents and many time zones. Over the span of 12-72 hours, a diverse group of participants will come together to collaborate on forward-thinking ideas. This all is powered by local organisers – people who know their cities and climate challenges best and carry the mission to bring people together.
