Introducing Helga Lind Mar as ESU’s new Executive Committee member

Helga Lind Mar is a member of the Executive Committee of ESU for the mandate of 2016/2017. Her journey within the student movement started in 2012 on a subject level as a literature student in the University of Iceland. She also held a position on the board of Vaka – student association and as a representative in SHI – Student union of the University of Iceland. She was also the chair of their international committee. Helga Lind was a part of the first executive committee of LÍS, a newly formed National Student Union in Iceland. Early on she started taking part in ESU as a member of LÍS’s international committee – and later on the took over as a international officer of LIS. In her free time she enjoys good literature, great food and a good laugh.
