ESU to participate in new project – European Forum for Enhanced Collaboration in Teaching (EFFECT)

ESU was invited to participate as a project partner in a new Erasmus+ project, namely: “European Forum for Enhanced Collaboration in Teaching (EFFECT). The project brings together experts, dedicated networks, organisations and institutions from different parts of Europe, and provides an innovative and transferable approach to higher education teaching staff development.

On 7 December, ESU took part in the EFFECT kick-off meeting at EUA’s premises in Brussels.
The project will focus on the following interlinked objectives:

1. Facilitate exchange and collaboration between European actors and stakeholders for the enhancement of higher education teaching
2. Identify good practices and develop new and innovative approaches to learning and teaching enhancement
3. Support institutions in the development of strategic approaches to the enhancement of learning and teaching
4. Develop a model for a sustainable European structure for the enhancement of learning and teaching

EADTU was invited to be a project partner that represents a network of expertise in this field, more specifically within the expert pools of EMPOWER.  EUA is the project coordinator of this Forward Looking Cooperation Project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
