ESPAQ 4th management meeting, Edinburgh – Students’ participation in quality assurance

The fourth management meeting of ESPAQ, organised by the Student Partnerships in Quality Scotland (SPARQS) was held in Edinburgh, between 20-21 March 2017.

The project aims to strengthen students’ participation in the quality assurance processes of Armenian institutions. This is done partly through exchanges of best practice among student unions from Poland, Lithuania, Ireland and Scotland.

ESU is coordinating Work Package 5, which consist of five students’ exchanges, three site visits of staff and a publication.

Following the project meeting, participants joined SPARQS annual conference to discuss, with a global audience, students’ participation in the quality assurance governance.  Adam Gajek, ESU’s Executive Committee Member, gave a speech on democratic competencies students gain from participation in quality assurance procedures.
