EQAR dialogue meeting Berlin

The European Students’ Union (ESU) was present at the 2018 Members’ Dialogue of EQAR held in Berlin on 27-28 November, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). The meeting has brought together EQAR Governmental Members, stakeholder organisations, permanent observers and statutory bodies to discuss current policy developments in quality assurance as well as EQAR’s current and future activities.

Being an invited speaker to a panel discussion about 10 years of   EQAR promoting trust and recognition, ESU highlighted the value and importance of trust among Higher Education Institutions (HEI) stakeholders in order to promote mobility for students. Furthermore, we underlined that with its new DEQAR platform EQAR could be made a much accessible and trustable platform for students if well promoted among them.

We also talked about the use of this platform for student-experts in Quality Assurance (QA), including the ones in ESU’s QA pool of student-experts. Indeed, EQAR is a common space for all stakeholders of Higher Education to come and find trustworthy information about QA.
