CALOHEE Advisory Board Meeting: Partners move forward in measuring learning outcomes

On September 17th, the CALOHEE (Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning outcomes in Higher Education in Europe) Advisory Board Meeting took place in Lieden, Netherlands. ESU was represented by President Lea Meister, Executive Committee member Gramoz Shpendi and Equality Coordinator Melanie Fröhlich.

CALOHEE’s main focus is on the the skills needed to prepare for the labour market, but furthermore on the role that the student later plays in society, after completing first and/or second cycle degree programmes. During the meeting, participating institutions were invited to complete a questionnaire focusing on modes of assessment for each of the five subject areas involved (Civil Engineering, Education and Teacher Training, History, Nursing and Physics). The results will serve as discussion resource for the Second General CALOHEE meeting that will take place in Porto in November 2016.
