Lauren Pray

Lauren Pray is an Executive Committee member at the European Students’ Union, focusing on strategic political priorities, European elections, education policy in crisis and conflict, the Students’ Rights Charter, and internships/traineeships. She also supports refugee and at-risk students.

Lauren began her activism in Prague, leading campaigns for Ukraine and students in Iran. She represented Czech university students nationally at SKRVŠ, the Student Chamber of the Council of Higher Education Institutions. Her foreign affairs expertise grew through roles at the British and American embassies. She is completing a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.

Currently, Lauren engages in EU-funded projects and AI impact analysis. She actively participates in various task forces and external representation roles, emphasising fundamental values and citizenship education in higher education and peace-building.
