Armenian National Student Association (ANSA) / Engaging through habits

by Armenian National Student Association (ANSA)

The conflict in Syria caused an inflow of more than 16.000 refugees to Armenia. Over 500 of them are university students who get educational and housing support from government Nonetheless, they are not yet actively involved into the student and youth life as full members of the community. They also often struggle with the ongoing legal frameworks designed for them and for Armenian higher education system in general.

This project will bring together 40 refugee and non-refugee students through skill-building events, recurring team meetings and one cultural trip. The project will end with a final conference where participants will discuss issues faced by refugees today, and present the results of the work they developed together.
