Call for participants to join the Study Session “You Co-Create the Future”

The European Students’ Union is proudly organising a study session to take place in the European Youth Centre in Budapest, Hungary.

We are looking for 20 young people to participate in our simulation of the Council of Europe’s Joint Council on Youth!

What?

The study session “You co-create your future” is inspired by ESU’s ongoing efforts to uphold students’ rights and involve as many young people as possible in democratic life. The goal of this study session is to:

  • introduce the co-management system of the Council of Europe on youth policy and use it as a tool which can be adapted to the needs of young people in order to achieve their local development goals,
  • nurture leadership skills and values, and to facilitate and empower youth participation in democratic life,
  • engage young people in cooperative processes and teamwork for the achievement of common goals.
  • Inspire participants to learn more about youth policy in Europe, realise its importance and the crucial nature of their opinion, and how they can get involved.

When?

13th to the 19th of October 2024, including arrival and departure dates (5 working days)

Who?

  • Are you between 18 and 30 years old?
  • Are you a resident in one of the Council of Europe member states?
  • Are you motivated to work on youth participation in regional and local democratic life?
  • Are you looking forward to learning more about the Youth Sector of the Council of Europe?

Then, apply for the study session by the 31st of May 2024 through this form.
