EU Presidency Youth Dialogue “For a green recovery”

Generation Climate Europe hosts the EU Presidency Youth Dialogue – the first event in a series of discussions between young people and the EU Presidency representatives.

With Germany taking over the EU Presidency on 1 July 2020, the event will be a unique opportunity for young Europeans to ask questions and voice their opinions on key climate and environmental issues with the German Federal Environment Minister Ms Svenja Schulze.

Under a theme ‘For a green recovery’, the dialogue will centre around three guiding questions:
– How will the German Presidency push for a strong and fair green European recovery?
– What are the specific objectives of the German Presidency to mitigate the climate crisis?
– How will the German Presidency include young people and the youth civil society in its Presidency?

The event will take place on 13 July 2020, 10:00 – 11:00 on Zoom.
