ESU welcomes new member union from Belarus

Following the decision made by the national unions at the Board Meeting 71 in Gdansk, Poland in December 2016, the European Students’ Union has a new member: BOSS (Brotherhood of Organisers of Student Self-Governance) from Belarus.

ESU warmly welcomes BOSS in its family of 45 national unions of students and hopes for a fruitful collaboration while representing its interests towards relevant bodies at European level, defending students’ rights and fighting for inclusive, quality education for all.

“Brotherhood of Organizers of Student Self-Government”, created in May 2013, is a non-governmental organization for student activists and everyone interested in student self-governance. The main goal of the organisation is to increase the involvement of students in the society. BOSS also aims to reveal the potential of each student and thereby improve the quality of education in Belarus.

More information about BOSS can be found here.
