ESU involved in a new Erasmus+ project

ESU will participate in a new Erasmus+ project focused on University Social Responsibility – a topic of increasing interest and concern for current students, the higher education sector itself, and national governments and supra-national bodies. The kick-off meeting was held between 27 and 28 September in London.

The specific reference point for the project will be the recently developed Benchmark Standards for University Social Responsibility across the EHEA. These provide the first and only common European reference framework in this area and are also comprehensively sector-specific and incorporate both societal and environmental dimensions and democratic sustainability.

The project will be led by National Student Union in UK and will have a duration of 3 years. More information will follow in the coming months.
