ESPAQ: Students’ Involvement in Quality Assurance in Armenia

Two meetings meetings will be held in May 2016 under the ESPAQ project – Enhancing Student Participation in Quality Assurance in Armenia Higher Education.

The third ESPAQ management meeting will take place between 17-18 May 2016. It will be hosted by the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) at the International Projects Centre, 128 Nalbandyan street, 0025 in Yerevan.

Agenda of the 3rd Management Meeting, May 17 – 18, 2016

The Dissemination Event on Students’ Involvement in Quality Assurance will take place on May 19th 2016. It will be hosted in Yerevan, Armenia by the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) at the Scientific Council Conference Hall, 128 Nalbandyan Street, Main Building, Central Entrance.

Background

The ESPAQ project is looking at one of the core challenges of Armenian higher education ( quality of its provision and outcomes), by engaging the students into processes of quality assurance (QA) and enhancement of their learning experience. With the help of project consortium, it will be explored the motivation and barriers for Armenian students to partake in QA on various levels. Project aims to improve the conditions for engagement by raising awareness on the importance of students’ say within the academic community providing capacity building support and by suggesting relevant changes in the legislation/HEI regulation.
