Conference on Mobility – Where are we Going?

ESU Member, POFEN (the Pancyprian Federation of Student Unions), is organising a conference on mobility for ESU members. This will take place in Limassol, Cyprus, from the 27th till the 30th of September this year. The conference will open in Nicosia in a session with the Ministry of Education and the President of the Cypriot Parliament.

This will be followed by a meeting with the Dean of the University of Cyprus as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will take the floor on the topic of mobility and allow participants the opportunity to interact with the speakers.

There will be a number of Workshops covering Student mobility and Funding, Language and other barriers. The Bologna Process will of course feature prominently in the discussions. On the final working day, representatives from the European Union, lecturers from the University of Cyprus, members from the Europarliament and from various Cypriot political parties will chair workshops and take part in panel discussions. ESU is very thankful to POFEN  for giving us the opportunity to hold this conference which  will without a doubt fuel many a fascinating discussion on a topic which is central to our current work.
