Call for participation in the LOTUS Leadership Development Programme in learning and teaching

The Leadership Development Programme is now accepting applications as part of the Erasmus+-funded LOTUS (Leadership and Organization for Teaching and Learning at European Universities) project. The application deadline is November 15, 2020.

The Leadership Development Programme will provide an opportunity for European higher education institutions to address the critical challenges in learning and teaching that they are currently facing by fostering capacity building in the implementation of systematic approaches to improvement.

The call will select 20-30 European higher education institutions to participate in peer-learning activities based on their institutional priorities in learning and teaching. The Leadership Development Programme will begin with an induction workshop on October 4-5, 2021, and will run through June 2022. During this time, participating institutions will work on their own learning and teaching implementation and change management plans. They will also engage in problem-solving exchanges with peer institutions and gain a comparative view of solutions proposed by different institutions across Europe to similar problems and challenges.

Please see the call for participation for more information on the planned activities under the Leadership Development Programme, as well as the terms and conditions for participation. Higher education institutions interested in participating in the Programme are encouraged to submit their applications online before the deadline.

The LOTUS project is a collaboration between the Irish Universities Association (IUA), the Finnish Ministry of Higher Education, the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna), the European Students’ Union (ESU), and the European Association of Institutions of Higher Education (EURASHE).
