National unions of students encouraged to participate in PL4SD

BRUSSELS – The European Students’ Union (ESU) strongly encourages its members to contribute to PL4SD project and invites all its colleagues to support the project by commenting on it.

The objective of the PL4SD project is to address the need for “peer learning” by collecting resources and developing collective measures to improve the social dimension of the European Higher Education Area.

See the data and comment on it!

A database with information about various activities that address the social dimension of higher education has been developed as part of this project. Users of the database can search for initiatives within particular fields and then leave their comments.

By presenting measures from different national higher education systems within the European Higher Education Area, the aim of the database is to facilitate a “peer learning” process. Peer learning enables countries to exchange knowledge and experiences in a given area, compare and contrast different policy approaches and identify best practices for addressing specific problems.

The database is therefore intended to serve as resource for policy-makers, practitioners, researchers and students who are committed to the improvement of the social dimension of higher education.

Students’ participation is crucial to the PL4SD project. Is the information provided clear to them and worth their attention? Do they have similar experiences or comments on the implementation of each initiative? Answers from students to questions such as these can enrich the project’s outcomes.
