TMF’s Sticker Competition 2019: Congratulations to Our Winners!

As part of the Together Moving Forward programme, we launched last June the “Together, Moving Forward: Sticker Competition”, which aims to look for talented young people to share their views and inspirations and to extend the debate on how to create an open European society towards newcomers, refugees and migrants.

These are the 2 winners!

Julia is a young graphic designer living in the South of France. As much as she can, she usually prefers to work for organizations and initiatives with whom she shares common values, which in our case: education, equity and positive vibes!

Neira is currently studying Law in Vienna but her second passion has always been graphic design. Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, she had to leave to Austria because of the lack of opportunities for young people. She shared with us a part of her story and motivation to apply to the competition:

“What motivated me the most to participate in this competition, was the fact that this particular symbiosis of migration and education feels very close to my heart, since I also come from a war-torn country, where there are less or no possibilities for young people, which is why I packed my bags and came to Vienna in a pursuit for a brighter future for me and my family. Feeling of alienation when living far away from home is lesser when you know you that education will help you to succeed and make your family and close ones proud. Also, the power of knowledge connects us all regardless of our social and economic backgrounds”.
