The Spanish Network for Immigration and the Coordinator of Representatives of Public Universities constitute migration observatory at the university

The Coordinator of Student Representatives of Public Universities (CREUP) together with the Spanish Network for Immigration and Refugee Help have signed the collaboration agreement for the constitution of the 1st Migration Observatory and University.

The objective proposed by the promoting entities will be the analysis of the problems and challenges of the migrant population in the access and permanence in university studies. This new body will seek to respond to the current vacuum of data and elements of analysis that, in the case of the Spanish State, lacks continuous evaluations since 2008.

With this roadmap, the aim is to make visible the serious situation in which migrants find themselves, with less than 1% access to higher education.
