In light of the European Elections, Students emPower Education!, co-hosted by the Flemish National Union of Students (VVS, Vlaamse Vereniging von Studenten) will take place from March 4th to 5th Brussels, Belgium.
The year 2024 is an important year for higher education in Europe and in Flanders, with numerous political and policy processes finalizing and starting up again. Belgium holds the presidency of the European Union in the first semester of 2024, which is followed by European, federal and regional elections in June and provincial and local elections in October. There is also a Ministerial Conference of the Bologna Process in May, in which the doings of the European Union play an important role.

Location
The event will take place in Brussels. The participants will be accommodated in a hotel in the city. Transportation between the hotel and the event locations is taken care of by the organisers.
