EQAF 2018 and Students pre-forum meeting in Vienna

A big delegation of students attended the 13th edition of the European quality assurance forum (EQAF) hosted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Organised by EUA, ENQA, EURASHE and ESU, the forum took place between 15 – 17 November 2018 and focused on how institutions and quality assurance agencies can build systems that encompass a broad range of activities, including learning and teaching, research, governance and administration, and service to society.

To facilitate the exchange of ideas between the student participants of the forum, ESU together with Österreichische Hochschülerinnen- und Hochschülerschaft (ÖH) organised a pre-forum students meeting, where the main topics of the forum were explored and debated.

‘For us the overall forum was a great opportunity to meet colleagues within the Quality Assurance (QA) field from different parts of the world, debate the challenges of modern Higher Education, learn fascinating new practices and set up further possible cooperations’ said Gohar Hovhannisyan, member of the Steering Committee of ESU’s QA Pool who also prepared the pre-forum session.

As informed at the end of the forum, the next EQAF will be hosted by the Technischen Universität Berlin between 21 – 23 November 2019 and we already look forward to it!
