Nora Angelova

Nora has been actively engaged in student representation and higher education policy for over six years. Her leadership journey began as President of the Student Council at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. She also contributed to national student representation through two mandates as an elected member of the Executive Committee of the National Assembly of Students’ Councils in Bulgaria. Since July 2024, Nora has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the European Students’ Union and has been re-elected for a third mandate for the 2026–2027 term. Within ESU, her work focuses on strengthening quality assurance in higher education, with particular attention to doctoral education and the needs of doctoral students. She is committed to advancing student-centred learning, improving learning and teaching practices, supporting fair recognition and promoting student mental health and overall well-being.
