Description
Gabriele is a 23-year-old student from the University of Catania, Italy. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, he is now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable Green Energy Transition.
His involvement in the European Universities Initiative began in 2023, when he co-founded the local student organisation dedicated to EUNICE affairs at his university. One year later, he became its coordinator, and in December 2024 he was elected Coordinator of the EUNICE Student Advisory Board (ESAB).
He currently serves as an Executive Committee member of the ForEU4All Topical Group on “Student-led Community on Sustainable and Democratic Student Participation,” where he is responsible for the European Degree & Joint Programmes. He is also part of the ESU Quality Assurance Student Experts Pool.
In his free time, he enjoys playing and coaching volleyball and is passionate about sustainable development and emerging technologies for energy efficiency.
