Franziska Sophia Knogler

Franziska is a student in Austria, at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Socioeconomics.

Her journey in the student movement started roughly 6 years ago, in 2020. Her strong sense of justice and passion for sustainability fueled her to become active in student representation at her university. Since then, she has held positions on local in Vienna, on national level in ÖH, and on international level within ESU and beyond.

As Vice-President of ESU, Franziska is now leading the organization’s work on the social dimension of higher education as well as fundamental values and solidarity. Within those areas her focus lies particularly on international and at-risk students (being especially proud of her work on Students at Risk), academic freedom, sustainability as well as social justice and access to higher education.
