SAMUELE
ULLL is essential for the professional development of adults, but there is a lack of transparency in its frameworks and programmes across European HEIs. The SAMUELE project addresses this by identifying the current characteristics and structures of ULLL in EU countries and by developing a self-assessment model to improve ULLL implementation. These outcomes will be used to develop a policy recommendation to help policy makers at EU and national HEI levels to improve ULLL strategies and to foster more engagement in ULLL. The SAMUELE project aims to enhance the transparency and implementation of ULLL across European HEIs through the following specific actions:
- Conduct a survey across 18+ EU countries, followed by the collection of a questionnaire from 60+ HEIs and the identification of 25+ relevant case studies. The findings will serve as the foundation for a Comparative Matrix and a Good Practices Report on ULLL.
- Develop a standardised Self-Assessment Model for European universities to evaluate and enhance their ULLL strategies. This model will be tested in 18 HEIs to ensure its adaptability across different educational contexts.
- Formulate a set of Policy Recommendations and Action Plan for EU policymakers at different levels to support the seamless integration of ULLL into HEIs.
