EUA 2025 Learning and Teaching Forum

Last week, the vibrant city of Cork hosted the much-anticipated Learning & Teaching Forum 2025, bringing together students, educators, and policymakers from across Europe. Organized under the theme 2030 and beyond: towards responsive and adaptable higher education, the forum served as a dynamic platform for discussing the future of higher education.

The European Students’ Union (ESU) was represented by Nora Angelova, ESU Executive Committee member and EUA Learning&teaching Steering Committee member . In the final panel, Nora delivered an address on student-centered learning in the context of the future of learning and teaching and EUA’s 2030 Learning and teaching Agenda. She emphasized the urgent need for more flexibility in learning pathways, advocating for a shift towards skills-based education and assessment methods that go beyond traditional exams. These insights resonated strongly with participants, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive and adaptable education systems.
