Council of Europe for a training on advocacy, democracy, and human rights

Our Equality coordinator Luka Lešić participated at the Council of Europe for a training on advocacy, democracy, and human rights—a crucial conversation in today’s world. As ESU is a partner of the Council of Europe, we engaged in discussions on the role of students and youth in shaping policy. We attended PACE (Parliamentary Assembly), took part in the side event “Youth, Ukraine, Europe – Coming of Age During War. How Can European Youth Policy Adapt?”, and met with parliamentarians to discuss the future of education and democracy. The Rt. Hon. Richard Hermer, Attorney General for England and Wales, also joined us for a session, sharing insights on human rights and legal frameworks. A truly enriching experience, reinforcing the importance of student and youth engagement in democracy.
