Lisbon Training in Budapest PDF Print E-mail
Training photo4th March: ESU unions from the Baltics and South Eastern Europe converged upon Budapest this past weekend for the second in ESU’s series of three regional trainings on the Lisbon Agenda. At the meeting, participants followed a number of training modules which included amongst others an overview of the European Union and its’ structures, the Open Method of Coordination, the relationship between the Bologna Process and the EU Modernisation agenda. Participants were also given presentations and workshops on planning and managing campaigns to achieve political goals. The training team consisted of Christine, Christian and Stef from ESU’s Commodification Committee as well as Anthony from the Secretariat. The meeting was organised by HÖOK – our member union in Hungary, who were kind enough to arrange for facilities and a meeting room within the impressive Hungarian Parliament. The training was co-financed by the European Commission.
